"A bilingual catalogue in which English and Hebrew are inversed resulting in the possibility to
follow both languages from one direction. The two languages flow one alongside the other and
present respective photographs and explanations in accordance with the language in which
they appear. The inversion of languages created a catalogue with one, linear, unidirectional
narrative as opposed to the common model of two covers and two narratives meeting in the
centre of the book. Reduced dividers proportional to the pages separate the articles and
the groups of photos. The symbol of the exhibition was die-cut out of the hardcover, thereby
exposing the inside of the book." |
