description: |
This poster deals with the lack of Israeli characteristics in the Israeli consumer culture. In order to create a poster that addresses publicity to consumers, the IKEA logo is transformed into the word “ISRAEL,” and “56.99” is written instead of “57.” Israelis prefer any product that has a hint of being from a foreign country. The cart is a symbol of consumption and is empty because the main issue is the entertainment involved in going out with the children to the mall. |
